HOME has a personal starting point which is the actual and symbolic quest for my grandmother’s house in Burdur, Turkey (formerly Poly-dorion). It traces the route of her forced migration from Burdur to Izmir in 1922. It is a self-reflective project, a research-based visual arts diary that includes photographs, video footage, interviews, archival research, personal and found objects from the areas where the enforced immigration happened
